Kim grew up in a remote, arid corner of Northern Arizona, where sagebrush and sand formed the framework of her worldview. She studied nursing at Westminster College in Salt Lake City, graduating with a B.S. in Nursing in 2012. After seven years working as a critical care nurse in ICUs around the American West, Kim shelved her nursing license to focus on motherhood, art, and design. She now lives and works out of an RV traveling the West with her family, finding inspiration in the many diverse landscapes they pass through.
